Spiritual Formation
Family Ministry
Our Children and Family Ministry is dedicated to nurturing the hearts and minds of our youngest members, guiding them to embrace the love and compassion that Jesus taught us through scripture. Through engaging lessons, meaningful experiences, and a strong sense of community, we strive to help children understand what it truly means to love their neighbors and live out their faith. Our hope is to inspire and equip them with a strong spiritual foundation—one that will support them as they grow into lifelong followers of Jesus Christ, carrying His love and teachings into the world.

Welcoming Children in Worship
Dear parents of young children,
Relax! God put the wiggle in children; don’t feel you have to suppress it in God’s house! All are welcome!
Sit toward the front where it is easier for little ones to see and hear what’s going on. They tire of seeing the backs of others’ heads.
Quietly explain the parts of the service and actions of the pastor, ushers, musicians, etc.
Sing the hymns, pray, and voice the responses. Children learn liturgical behavior by copying you.
If you have to leave the service with your child, feel free to do so, but please come back. As Jesus said, “Let the children come to me.”
Remember, the way we welcome children in church directly affects the way they respond to the church, to God, and to one another. Let them know they are at home in this house of worship.
Dear church members,
The presence of children is a gift to the church and they are a reminder that our congregation is growing. Please welcome our children and give a smile of encouragement to their parents.
Adult Formation
Recognizing that adults experience a variety of life stages and transitions—whether navigating career and family responsibilities, facing midlife changes, or embracing retirement and later years—Christian formation opportunities are thoughtfully designed to meet individuals wherever they are on their journey.
Throughout the year, we offer seasonal small group studies, supper clubs, and other faith-learning activities that provide space for spiritual growth, meaningful connection, and deeper discipleship. These opportunities cater to the unique challenges and joys of each stage of life, helping individuals cultivate a faith that is both personal and transformative. Whether someone is seeking community in faith, wrestling with life’s big questions, or discovering new ways to live out their beliefs, there is a place for them in our Christian formation offerings.

The journey will take participants through an exploration of their personal God-narratives, the work of the Spirit, spiritual practices, and community.
