A trio of free workshops for nonprofit partners of First Presbyterian Church, Lancaster

The format for all workshops will be:

  • 8:30 - 9:00 a.m.  Welcome/fellowship
  • 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Presentation
  • 10:00- 10:15 a.m.  Break
  • 10:15 - 10:45 a.m. Questions and Answers
  • 11:00 a.m. Wrap Up


Location: First Presbyterian Church, 140 East Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602

These workshops are offered at no cost to our nonprofit mission partners. We kindly ask that all participants register in advance. Please share the workshop information with anyone in your organization who might benefit. We have lots of space!

“Caring for your staff when mental overload and burnout are real”

Intended for CEOs/executive directors, human resources directors, managers and front-line supervisors.

Mental Health America of Lancaster County

Megan Beyerle is the Education Coordinator and Firearm Safe Storage Program Coordinator at Mental Health America of Lancaster County. With a background in the insurance industry and human resources—including liability and injury claims work, insurance licensure, and an HR Generalist certificate from AIHR—Megan is drawn to training, mentoring, and people-centered work. Megan is also a certified QPR Gatekeeper Instructor and regularly incorporates this role into her community education efforts. A Penn State graduate and lifelong Lancaster County resident, she is passionate about mental health advocacy, destigmatization, and helping individuals navigate stress and available resources. She lives in Lititz with her husband, Scott, their daughter, Charlotte, and their dog, Frank.


Mental Health America of Lancaster County promotes optimal mental health through advocacy, education, and support. MHALC responds to the gaps in services by providing programs dedicated to helping members of our community along their journey of mental wellness. MHALC strives to bring transparency to those around us and generate conversations that will help those struggling with mental illness to feel empowered to get the help they need and deserve.

Rebekah Basinger is an independent consultant for fundraising and board development. She is the co-author with Thomas Jeavons of Growing Givers’ Hearts: Treating Fundraising as Ministry, a theme that continues to shape her approach to fundraising. Rebekah serves on the board of the School of Theology of Moravian University as a legacy trustee of Lancaster Theological Seminary. She and her husband, Randall, live in Dillsburg, PA.
